MAY DAY!

Today is May 1st. Today is a historical anniversary--dating back to 1886-- of the worker and union struggle for an eight hour work day. People were massacred for this struggle in our own nation, a nation that now benefits from this struggle but does not acknowledge it as its official "Labor Day." Today we honor the tireless struggles that workers of the world endure. We honor the tireless immigrant rights struggle. We remember the lives that have been lost for this struggle and celebrate the barriers we will overcome. Today is May Day! Join the Celebration, the Movement, and the Revolution! ¡Sí Se Puede!
